President - Lee Anne Campbell
Lee Anne Campbell moved from Toronto in 1998 specifically for the Child and Youth Worker Program offered at the Kingston Campus. Graduating in 2002 with a 3-year Child and Youth Worker Diploma and a 2-year Arts and Science Diploma, she was also the recipient of the Kate Eves Memorial Award. Lee Anne has worked at Briley Children’s Residence, Lennox and Addington Family and Children’s Services and is currently an Instructor Therapist with the Autism Intervention Program at Pathways for Children and Youth. In 2006, Lee Anne was honoured to be the Linda Ann Daly Award Recipient and in 2007, made the Dean’s List when she completed her 4-year Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science Diploma in Human Services Management from Loyalist College.

Laurie Gray
Laurie is a graduate of the Kingston Campus Child and Youth Worker class of 1998. Presently she is working towards her honours degree in Child and Youth Care from Ryerson University where she plans to graduate in June 2010. Laurie was hired immediately after graduation at St. Lawrence College by the Limestone District School Board, where she has been supporting youth in diverse capacities ever since. Presently Laurie is involved with the support of students as they develop their skills with assistive technology and develop learning skills that meet their individual needs.
Vice-President of Finance - Jillian Manning
Jillian Manning is a Kingston graduate from 2004. She has experience in both recreational and therapeutic settings. After a few years working in the field with low-income families, Jillian became interested in how the food a family consumed could impact on the success of a child academically and behaviourally. Jillian continued her studies in the field of Nutrition and now shares the message of how healthy eating impacts Children and Youth. She currently teaches part-time in the Kingston CYW and BST programs, using her experience from a variety of jobs including recreation, education, and therapeutic roles. This year Jillian will be a guest lecturer in the BPsyc Degree Program as well. Apart from teaching, Jillian works full-time as a Substance Abuse Counsellor for Kairos Counselling Services. Locations on her caseload include Queen Elizabeth Collegiate Vocational Institute, Second Chance, Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School, Yonge House Custody and Detention Group Home, and all Kingston elementary schools in the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Education with a Community College focus, as well as her Advanced Nutrition Diploma. She continues to enjoy life-long learning, and inspiring other people to change their lives and grow to reach their full potential.
Vice-President of Membership - Terri McDade
Terri McDade graduated from St.Lawrence College Brockville Campus in 1979 with a Child Care Diploma and continued on at Queen’s University to obtain a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. She began her career as a Child and Youth Counsellor at Beechgrove Regional Children’s Center in the Adolescent Residential Unit and then became an Adolescent Care Worker for the Limestone District School Board. During that time she taught at SLC for the Human Studies Dept. In 2001 Terri was hired as a full time faculty in the Child and Youth Worker Program on the Kingston campus and soon after became the coordinator. Her role as Associate Dean of Community Services began in September 2007 and paved the way for her newest role as Dean, Faculty of Arts. She has been involved in the Provincial Association of Child & Youth Counsellors for eight years serving on the Board as a committee chair and treasurer. Terri has also been on the Board of Directors for the Frontenac Children’s Aid Society for 7 years serving as President for 2 of those and remains heavily involved in their fundraising efforts and maintains a liaison role between St. Lawrence College and the CAS. Terri’s passion for post secondary education and being a life- long learner prompted her to pursue graduate studies and she is presently in a Masters program at Central Michigan University. She and her partner Larry live in Kingston with their twin daughters, Caileigh and Meghan, who are studying at Queen’s and will be graduating in 2010.
Vice-President of Programming - Michael Carr
Mike graduated in 2007, from the Child and Youth Worker Program, at St. Lawrence College, in Kingston, ON. Mike is presently working for both the Limestone District School Board and the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, here in Kingston. Mike is also a Certified Child and Youth Counsellor and a full member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors. He is presently on the Advisory Committee for the Child and Youth Worker Program, at St. Lawrence College and is the V.P. of Programming for the CYW Alumni Association. Mike is a horse-whisperer and a horse trainer and has designed a therapeutic treatment program for children and youth who struggle with a wide variety of challenges. Mike has incorporated horse therapy into his program, to enhance learning and to empower the children and youth who participate.
